Nishijin is a high-quality garment woven in Nishisho, Kyoto and has flourished as a costume since the Heian period. Even today, Naonobu is highly regarded for its tradition and quality, so much that it is still used during weddings and festivals of the Imperial family. With a history of more than 556 years, it is characterised by beautiful colours and delicate patterns and has a strong presence as a traditional Japanese craft.
